Counseling and Life Coaching

Life presents us with challenges and opportunities from the time we are adolescents until and through the golden years of our lives. Often, the problems that confront us are spiritual and philosophical, rather than medical or psychological. They are problems connected to the way we see life, whether because of the larger culture's influence on us or because of our own upbringing.

Philosophical and Spiritual Counseling is for those who do not have medical or psychological issues, but rather feel the need to question and challenge certain assumptions, decisions, and points of view that have become problematic for living. These include such questions as:

Should I believe in God?

How can I have a meaningful life?

What is spirituality and is it of value for human living?

How should I view death?

How should I view growing older?

Should I change careers?

How can I engage people who are different?

How do I embrace my sexuality?

How do I handle my fear of death?

Is my view of marriage "healthy"?

. . . and other important life questions.
